
COLUMBUS, Ind. – Now that the calendar has turned to July, the halfway mark of 2019, Bartholomew County Sheriff Matt Myers has shared the report outlining the calls for service that his deputies have responded to over the last six months.
In total, Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) deputies responded to 20,334 calls for service during the first half of the year, and they include:
577 Investigations from 911 calls
362 Property Damage Accidents
160 Personal Injury Accidents
257 Alarms
512 Other Agency Assists
500 Follow Ups
834 Motorist Assists
482 Suspicious Person/Vehicle
257 Drunk Drivers
349 Reckless Drivers
3,161 Civil Process
In addition, BCSO provided 2,055 extra patrols, made 368 school security checks, served 418 warrants, made 296 welfare checks, and performed 4,624 traffic stops
