GREENWOOD, Ind. – The city of Greenwood is celebrating another record-breaking season at Freedom Springs Aquatic Center as it welcomed 125,000 attendees this summer, marking the fifth straight year of record attendance.
Freedom Springs has been a self-sustaining public facility since its first year of operations, putting money back into Greenwood’s parks system annually. This season, it eclipsed $1 million in revenue for the second consecutive year.
“Once again, Freedom Springs provided endless summer entertainment for Greenwood residents and visitors,” said Greenwood Mayor Mark Myers. “Freedom Springs is continuing to build on the momentum.”
