JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana State Police (ISP) is investigating a Sunday afternoon single-vehicle crash in Jennings County, which claimed the life of Craig Coons, 25, of North Vernon.
Troopers indicate the victim was traveling north on County Road 150E, near County Road 650N, in rural Jennings County, at around 1:30 p.m. The vehicle left the east side of the highway, struck a utility pole, overturned, and came to rest in the roadway. Coons was ejected from the vehicle during the collision and sustained fatal injuries.
ISP says toxicology reports are pending and the investigation continues.
