COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus and Bartholomew County Recycling Center is helping residents recycle now through January 18.
It is offering drive-thru recycling so you can properly dispose of old strands of Christmas lights and wrapping paper, as long as they do not have foil or glitter. Also, no bows, ribbons, or tissue paper will be accepted.
The center is also making free, live Christmas tree recycling available until January 18. Trees must be void of lights, decorations, and stand and have to be taken to the yard waste site at 720 S. Mapleton St., adjacent to the recycling center.
