COLUMBUS, Ind. — Wednesday was a big day for several local high school athletes who signed letters of intent to play college sports.
Columbus North High School conducted a ceremony after school.
Football players Alex Algee signed with the University of Indianapolis and Drew Schoeberl signed with Columbia University.
Ty Bentham will take his soccer talents to Fredonia State in New York, and track star Ben Rankin signed with Grace College.
Student-athletes at Center Grove, Columbus East and Franklin Community High School also signed letters of intent.
