SEYMOUR, Ind. — Job cuts are possible in Seymour as part of a pharmaceutical company’s efforts to streamline operations and reduce costs.
Philadelphia-based Lannett Company plans to cut the workforce by 10 percent as part of the recent acquisition of Kremers Urban Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Kremers is headquartered in New Jersey, and its manufacturing plant is located in Seymour.
Lannett also intends a total staff reduction of approximately 20 percent over the next three years.
The company did not immediately return messages on how many jobs in Seymour would be impacted.
