INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Officials at Simon Property Group have announced that as of Wednesday at 7 p.m., they have closed all of their domestic properties due to the coronavirus pandemic, including all mall locations.
“The health of our shoppers, retailers, and employees is of paramount importance and we are taking this step to help reduce the spread of COVID-19,” said David Simon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Simon.
Locally, the closure affects both Indiana Premium Outlets in Edinburgh and the Greenwood Park Mall. In total, 10 Simon malls across the state are temporarily closing.
