INDIANAPOLIS — The Columbus man convicted in February of killing four people is scheduled to appear in court Thursday morning in Indianapolis.
Samuel Sallee, 58, was found guilty in the fatal drug-related shooting deaths of Katherine Burton, Thomas Smith, Aaron Cross and Shawn Burton in a Waynesville home in May 2013.
Sallee was sentenced to life without parole.
The convicted killer has filed an appeal with the Indiana Supreme Court arguing insufficient evidence to prove his guilt. The hearing is set for 9 a.m.
The original hearing was delayed in December.
