COLUMBUS, Ind. — Local law enforcement are warning motorists about a possible police impersonator after a man was stopped on Interstate 65 Wednesday morning.
A black Dodge Charger with red and blue lights in the front window pulled over the man between exit 64 and 68.
The suspected impersonator asked for the driver’s license and registration. The victim noticed the officer did not have a badge. When asked to provide identification, the impersonator refused and tried to open the car door.
