GREENWOOD, Ind. — Greenwood police are interviewing a driver who crashed into a local business and fled the scene late Saturday.
The suspect ran his vehicle into the Tropical Tan building in the 500 block of North Meridian Street around 11:30 p.m., and then exited the vehicle and continued to flee on foot. Police set up a perimeter and eventually captured the suspect without incident on Carol Drive.
Officials are assessing the damage, and have not determined if the business will be able to open Monday.
