COLUMBUS, Ind.–It was hot and humid this weekend for the fifth annual Mill Race Marathon. Peter Kosgei, a former Kenyan now living in Grand Rapids, Michigan, won the 26.2-mile race with a time of 2:33:33. Second place went to Japhet Kipkoech, who won last year’s marathon. The first woman to complete the race was Lauren Jackson, crossing the finish-line at 3:11:29. Martha Cutrell, of Evanston, Indiana, was the lucky winner of the drawing for the 2017 Cummins crew cab truck, valued at over $50,000.
