COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus City Utilities has expanded its Boil Water Advisory for customers near 8th and Lafayette Streets, to also include residents in the 8th and Pearl Streets and 8th and Sycamore Streets area.
The precautionary measure is necessary due to a shutdown associated with water system improvements.
Temporarily, customers should boil their cooking and drinking water for five minutes and continue to do so until told that the water has passed laboratory testing. Customers will be notified when the order is lifted.
