EDINBURGH, Ind. – Edinburgh Fire and Rescue was dispatched to a residential fire, at 688 Duncan St., on Saturday just after 1 p.m. Firefighters arrived to find a working fire in the living room wall and attic area.
The small blaze was brought under control in approximately 20 minutes. Crews removed drywall and insulation to check for extension. No injuries were reported and damage estimates are not yet available.
Assisting agencies included the German Township, Nineveh, and Amity Fire Departments, Edinburgh Police, and the Edinburgh Electric Department.
