COLUMBUS, Ind. — Two people are facing drug charges after a traffic stop near 25th Street and Beam Road Wednesday.
The driver and passenger had warrants for their arrest.
A Columbus officer believed a passenger, Charles W. Sherfick, 44, of Columbus, was under the influence of methamphetamine. Meth and syringes were discovered nearby Sherfick, police said.
During a search of the driver, Samantha L. Banks, 41, of Columbus, police claimed to have found meth and pain pills in her purse.
