COLUMBUS, Ind. – Due to a water line repair, certain residents in Bartholomew County were without water service for about four hours late Thursday night. Despite service being restored, those customers are under a boil water advisory until Tuesday at 4 p.m.
The affected areas include the Northgate, Bol-Mar, and Westgate neighborhoods, along with the northbound rest area on Interstate 65.
During the boil water advisory, any water that is to be consumed or used for cooking purposes should be boiled for at least three to five minutes and then cooled before consuming.
