COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus Regional Health (CRH) said Monday that its outpatient practices are experiencing very high patient volumes and increased wait times.
At around midday on Monday, CRH announced that walk-ins were temporarily not being accepted for the rest of the day at its PromptMed urgent care location on 25th Street in Columbus. Officials stated the next available option would be Tuesday morning at this location.
The hospital’s Facebook page said, “We sincerely appreciate your compassion for our staff, providers, and physicians during this difficult time. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding during this unprecedented influx of patients.”
