COLUMBUS, Ind.–Area students and adults are invited to a 3D printing workshop, hosted by Purdue Polytechnic Columbus, May 21-25, from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The event, held in the AMCE building, will be led by Purdue Polytechnic Columbus Faculty member Matt Ferrill. Those enrolled will learn how to build their own 3D printer.
The 3D Printing Workshop fee is $400 and includes all course content, 3D printer materials, software, and accessories. At the end of the classes, participants will get to keep the printer and software for their personal use.
Enrollment for the May session is open through May 18, at purdue.edu/columbus. Attendees should be at least 12 years of age. An adult is required to accompany a child enrolled in the workshop who is under 18.
