COLUMBUS, Ind. – The 2022 season of the Columbus Farmer’s Market is set to kick off this Saturday, May 7.
The Market will run from 9:00am to 12:30pm every Saturday from May 7 through September 17 at 123 Washington St, Columbus, IN 47201, just south of City Hall. Columbus Mayor James Lienhoop encourages people to come out to support local produce and get a look at the continued renovations surrounding the Market.
“It’ll be a good opportunity for people to come out and just enjoy a little bit of a return to normalcy and get a view as to how 1st street will come together,” Mayor Lienhoop said referring to the construction of the future 1821 Trail.
The Columbus Farmers Market will feature locally grown and produced foods, plants, art, and handcrafted items. Those interested in becoming vendors are encouraged to contact The Market Coordinator at columbusfarmersmarket@gmail.com, or by phone at (812)-371-1866.
