COLUMBUS, Ind. – UPDATE: Here is the updated list of roads that are closed and/or experiencing high water in Columbus as of 5 p.m.:
High Water:
- South Gladstone in the S curves
- 850 S. / S. 400 W. HIGH WATER but will be closed soon.
- SB lane – 11000-Blk S Jonesville Rd.
- 10th / McClure – EB side 10th
- Columbus Center/Marr Rd
- 10th/ Gladstone – EB side 10th
- SR58 / 700 S
- SR58 / Seymour Road
- 800 N between SR9 and Marr Rd
Closed:
- 400 West – between Deaver Road (Cowboy Corner) and Somerset Lane
- 930S / 400 W
ORIGINAL:
Due to the rain, Bartholomew County Emergency Management (BCEM) says that as of 8:15 a.m. on Friday, several roads in the county have high water and at least one road has been closed.
As the rain continues through Saturday, more closings are expected.
BCEM cautions drivers to be aware and to not drive through water over a roadway.
High Water:
- Southbound lane – 11000 Block of S. Jonesville Road
- 10th/McClure – Eastbound side of 10th Street
- Columbus Center/Marr Road
- 10th/Gladstone – Eastbound side of 10th Street
- West County Road 850S at South County Road 400W (will be closed soon)
Closed:
- County Road 400W between Deaver Road and Somerset Lane
