COLUMBUS, Ind. - "Battle of the Bowls - Greyson's Chili Cook-Off" is the senior project of Columbus North student Greyson Kesler. The community event, hosted by Fun on 4th, raises money for Toys for Tots in Columbus.
The chili competition is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, from 1 to 5 p.m., downtown on 4th Street. If you think your chili is the best in town, become a vendor and prove it. The entry fee for cooks is $100, and the registration deadline is November 1. Winning chefs will receive gift cards.
Judging will be done by radio station QMIX 107.3 with awards for:
- Hottest Chili
- Most Creative Chili
- People's Choice
Admission to "Battle of the Bowls - Greyson's Chili Cook-Off" is free, but donations are accepted. Enjoy some of the best chili in Bartholomew County and help support the Toys for Tots mission to bring joy to children in the community.
Contact Travis or Tucker at 4th Street Bar for more information about vendor and sponsorship opportunities.
Greyson Kesler said, "I would like to thank Fun on 4th, Toys for Tots, 4th Street Bar and Grill, and Tony Stewart for their guidance with my senior project."
