COLUMBUS, Ind. - Centra Credit Union is strengthening its community ties through the Centra Foundation’s "Pay It Forward" campaign, which empowers employees to lead volunteer projects.
The campaign underscores the credit union's "People Helping People" philosophy, focusing on financial empowerment, scholarships, and social responsibility.
Recently, Centra and its Team Members donated $5,000 to several Bartholomew County nonprofits:
- Advocates for Children
- Foundation For Youth
- Human Services, Inc.
- Indiana Youth Group of Columbus
- Lincoln Central Neighborhood Family Center
- REACH Columbus
- Student Fund of Hope
- The ARC of Bartholomew County
- Turning Point Domestic Violence Services
In the third quarter of 2026, 180 team members volunteered their time and contributed $10,000 in community support. Throughout the year, the Foundation is allocating $28,000 across 56 teams to support local needs.
