Brownstown woman charged with sexual misconduct with a minor

SEYMOUR, Ind. - Seymour Police Department (SPD) officers received information on Saturday, January 17, that a juvenile was at a location in town where an adult female allegedly convinced the juvenile to have sexual intercourse with them. 

Investigators at SPD were notified of the situation. Over the next few days, detectives followed up on information and conducted interviews.   

As a result of the questioning, on Monday, January 19, investigators arrested Hope L. Lockman, 33, of Brownstown, for sexual misconduct with a minor (level 4 felony).     

Lockman was transported to Jackson County Jail.
