SEYMOUR, Ind. - The Seymour Community School Corporation (SCSC) is again providing free meals to students and families throughout the community this summer. Sign-ups are now open, and the first pick-up date is June 4.
All families will be required to register in advance to receive the SUN Meals To-Go. To assist with this process, SCSC will offer three pre-registration opportunities for families to bring their children in for verification.
Families who are unable to attend a pre-registration session will be required to have their children present at the initial meal pickup.
Distribution of the meals will be weekly, on Thursdays, from noon to 2 p.m, at Seymour Intermediate School, 1000 S. Poplar Street. The meal kit will consist of seven breakfasts and seven lunches.
If you have questions about the program or registration process, call the SCSC Foodservice Department at 812-522-3340. The School Corporation looks forward to serving the children and families of Jackson County again this year.
