SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 108 recently held its annual FOP Cops and Kids Christmas Shopping Program.
At the beginning of the day, families were given the option of having breakfast at McDonald’s in Seymour. Then, it was on to the Seymour Walmart for shopping.
Walmart provided the families with doughnuts, juice, milk, coffee, and water. FOP members and officers from the Seymour Police Department, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana State Police, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Hartsville Police Department, and their families spent time shopping with the kids.
As families were leaving, they were also provided with a Christmas meal and cookies to take home. The Cops and Kids Christmas Shopping program is just one initiative the FOP is involved in that helps support the community.
Partnering with FOP Lodge 108 were the Seymour Walmart, McDonald’s, and Mark and Beth’s Smalltown Sweets.
