Seymour Police bust 3 at local motel on felony drug charges

SEYMOUR, Ind. - The Seymour Police Department (SPD) received information on Friday, January 15, that a wanted individual was at the All-State Inn, at 2603 Outlet Blvd., in Seymour.

While at the location looking for the man, officers developed probable cause and obtained a Jackson Circuit Court Search Warrant to search a hotel room.     

They found the wanted individual, Darrell Kinslow Jr., along with two others in that hotel room. All three are from Seymour, and they were taken into custody on various charges and transported to Jackson County Jail.

SPD arrested these individuals:

  • Kinslow, 48, was booked for a Jackson Circuit Court Warrant for Theft, Possession of Methamphetamine (level 6 felony), Possession of Paraphernalia (class A misdemeanor), and Maintaining a Common Nuisance (level 6 felony)
  • Tina Lawson, 57, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana (class A misdemeanor), Possession of Paraphernalia (class A misdemeanor), and Maintaining a Common Nuisance (level 6 felony)
  • Barry Lawson, 58, was charged with Possession of Paraphernalia (class A misdemeanor) and Maintaining a Common Nuisance (level 6 felony).

 All parties herein depicted or described are presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
