SEYMOUR, Ind. - The Seymour Community School Corporation (SCSC) has announced the launch of its brand-new preschool program for the 2026-2027 school year. The time to apply is now. 

The Little Hoots Preschool is for children who turn four by August 1, 2026. All kids within the SCSC district are eligible to apply. Out-of-district students may be considered if space is available.

The preschool program offers a high-quality early learning experience. Free breakfast and lunch are included.

    SEYMOUR, Ind. - A two-vehicle collision involving a wrong-way driver claimed three lives on I-65 near Seymour early Sunday morning, August 23. Shortly after 2:30 a.m., a caller reported a head-on crash on southbound I-65 in Jackson County, about one mile south of Seymour.
