NORTH VERNON, Ind. - The Jennings County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) and Jail Division has announced Tuesday that it has become the 11th Hoosier County to transition to "INJail," Indiana's statewide jail management system. The Indiana Supreme Court funds the system.

This is a significant investment in the future of JCSO and another step toward providing the highest level of service to the citizens of Jennings County. INJail will improve communication between agencies, streamline inmate management, enhance record-keeping, and help jail staff work more efficiently while continuing to provide safe, professional service.

The transition took months of planning, testing, training, and teamwork to make the switch possible. JCSO recognizes and thanks every member of our Jail Division, administrative staff, dispatchers, IT partners, and the INJail implementation team for their dedication throughout this process.

A special thank you goes to Jail Lt. Michelle Fox, who coordinated and orchestrated the implementation alongside the INJail staff, ensuring the transition remained on track from start to finish. Chief Deputy Cody Low is also recognized for supporting the project from the very beginning and helping provide the resources and leadership necessary to bring this important initiative to completion.

As with any major software implementation, there may be a few adjustments during the initial rollout. JCSO appreciates the patience and understanding of our staff and the public as everyone becomes familiar with the new system.

The Jennings County Sheriff's Office remains committed to embracing technology that improves efficiency, strengthens accountability, and enhances the services it provides to the community.
