JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind.- The Jennings County Travel Advisory has been upgraded to YELLOW (Advisory Level) on Thursday, March 5 at 9 a.m. Multiple roadways throughout Jennings County have experienced severe flooding, washed out sections of roadway, and downed trees.
A large section of the County Road 1100N roadway has been completely washed away due to flooding. Use extreme caution if you must travel.
- Slow down and watch for flooded roadways.
- Never drive through standing water.
- Turn Around, Don’t Drown.
Be alert for barricades, emergency vehicles, and road crews working. Over the last 48 hours, numerous agencies have been working tirelessly responding to emergencies, including downed trees, flooded roadways, washed-out roads, medical calls, and water rescues.
