BARGERSVILLE, Ind. - The Bargersville Police Department (BPD) played a role in bringing a missing person from a neighboring state back home on Tuesday, May 19.
Thanks to the use of Flock cameras in the Bargersville area, BPD officers were made aware of a vehicle, possibly being driven by a missing person from Illinois.
BPD responded and was able to locate the car on Whiteland Road/State Road 144. After executing a traffic stop and making contact with law enforcement in Illinois, it was confirmed that the driver had indeed been reported missing.
The driver’s family was then contacted and was ultimately reunited with the missing person.
This incident proved to be a great example of tools and technology being put to good use to help achieve a successful outcome and reunite a family with their loved one.
