FRANKLIN, Ind.– River Valley Legal Aid has announced a Free Legal Walk-In Clinic on Friday, March 27, at the Johnson County Public Library-Franklin Branch, 401 S. State St.
The free clinic, from 3 to 5 p.m., is for low-income residents in Franklin and Johnson County.
The Legal Aid Clinic and Pro Bono Program utilizes local volunteer attorneys to offer free legal consultations to low-income individuals, providing legal advice and assistance in furtherance of equal access to justice within the community.
Receive free legal advice on family law, child support, divorce, guardianships, housing, powers of attorney, and more. However, questions on criminal law will not be entertained.
Participants in the Legal Clinic on March 27 can expect a 10-minute in-person consultation on a civil matter, on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no need to register in advance.
