COLUMBUS, IND. — Centra Credit Union and the Centra Foundation announced that Turning Point Domestic Violence Services has been awarded $75,000 in grants: $15,000 to the organization and $60,000 in Community Multiplier grant funds through the Indianapolis Community Multiplier–Member Match program.

The Community Multiplier – Member Match is a matching grant program available to financial institution members of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (FHLBank Indianapolis).

The program offers grants of up to $60,000 each with a minimum 25% matching commitment from the member financial institution to support affordable housing initiatives.

“One of the best parts of my role at Centra is seeing what’s possible when people come together to support their community,” Centra AVP of Community Impact Jenni Carr said.

In 2025, Turning Point Domestic Violence Services’ emergency shelter saw 6,300 nights of shelter, putting excessive wear and tear on their building. With this grant, Turning Point will be able to address critical repairs needed to continue providing a safe space for families and individuals experiencing domestic violence.
