COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Columbus Parks and Recreation Department said Thursday, October 29, that winterization activities have begun and are expected to be completed by mid-November.
As part of this process, irrigation systems will shut down, and outdoor public restrooms will close. They will reopen in April 2027.
The tower at Mill Race Park will also remain closed throughout the winter months.
