GREENWOOD, Ind. — The Greenwood Park Board approved a donation and escrow agreement with the Greenwood Veterans Memorial Association during its meeting on Tuesday, September 1.
The agreement establishes a dedicated escrow account with Regions Bank to hold project donations and manage payments to vendors for bricks, tablets, and benches.
Designed to protect both city funds and the association, the agreement ensures proper oversight of long-term commitments raised for the memorial over the past 25 years.
The new Greenwood Veterans Memorial will be located south of the Greenwood Public Library and just north of the Fieldhouse Plaza.
