GREENWOOD, Ind. — The Greenwood Common Council has voted 8–0 to approve a rezoning request for a new residential development on the city’s west side.
The approved ordinance rezones about 48 acres at 903 West Stones Crossing Road from Agricultural (AG) to Residential Medium (RM).
Developer M/I Homes plans to build "Hudson Landing," a 102-lot single-family residential subdivision featuring its "Prestige" product line.
Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation Superintendent Dr. Timothy Edsell expressed his support for the project during the meeting.
As part of the approval, council members included amendments clarifying street stub connections to the neighboring Swartz Crossing development and adding a commitment restricting vinyl siding on the homes.
