COLUMBUS, Ind. — Construction on the Haw Creek Meadows development on Midway Street is expected to be finished soon, bringing dozens of new affordable housing units and dedicated childcare space to the city.
Project developer Thrive Alliance submitted its third official reimbursement request to the city this week, reporting that construction across the site is on schedule.
Both the housing structures and on-site daycare facility are targeted for completion in December 2026.
The Columbus Redevelopment Commission previously committed $4,650,000 to the multi-family project in June 2024. Once completed, the community will feature 64 affordable housing units designed to expand local workforce housing options alongside early childhood education services.
Thrive Alliance will release more Information regarding residential lease applications and childcare center enrollment ahead of the winter opening.
