NORTH VERNON, Ind. — The North Vernon Police Department (NVPD) pulled over a vehicle on N. State Street on Sunday, August 30. During the traffic stop, officers conducted a probable-cause search of the car driven by Zachary Ryan Clark, 32, of North Vernon.
While searching, officers allegedly discovered multiple evidentiary items, leading to Clark’s arrest.
The suspect was transported to and booked into the Jennings County Jail on the preliminary charges of:
- Dealing in methamphetamine (Level 5 felony)
- Obstruction of Justice (Level 6 felony)
- Possession of methamphetamine (Level 3 felony)
- Dealing in marijuana (Class A misdemeanor)
- Possession of marijuana (Class B misdemeanor)
- Possession of paraphernalia (Class C misdemeanor)
- Driving while suspended (Class A infraction)
Clark is now being held on a $20,055 bond. He was previously released from jail on his own recognizance on a pending charge.
