SEYMOUR, Ind. - The Schneck Foundation is again offering its "Safe Sitter" initiative this year at no cost to participants. It provides young adults with an up-to-date, medically based youth development program, taught by trained team members from Schneck Medical Center.

For boys and girls entering grades 6 through 8, this one-day class teaches babysitters the life and safety skills they need and equips them with the tools to handle emergencies when caring for younger children.

  • Seymour, Schneck Medical Center on June 5, 6, 20, and July 10, 11, 13, 17, 18, 24
  • Scottsburg, Scott County YMCA on June 27 and July 24
  • North Vernon, Jennings County Public Library on June 19
  • Salem, Washington County Community Learning Center on June 26
