TAYLORSVILLE, Ind. - Bartholomew County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) deputies were on the scene Saturday morning in Taylorsville when they were dispatched about a possible explosive device.
While a man was mowing his yard on County Road 650N, between East and Depot Streets, he found a hand grenade in his yard.
The Columbus Police Department Bomb Squad was called, and the device was removed for further examination.
The road was closed for a short time during the incident. There were no injuries.
