SEYMOUR, Ind. - The City of Seymour issued a "Boil Water Advisory" on Wednesday afternoon, October 21, for about 75 Seymour customers.
The Boil Water Advisory was declared because a water main break dropped water pressure below 20 PSI for more than two hours.
The Advisory is in effect for:
- N. Elm Street
- W. 7th Street
- W. 8th Street
- W. 9th Street
- W. 10th Street

Affected customers should bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or preparing food.
The City estimates the Boil Water Advisory will be lifted on Thursday, October 22, at 9:30 p.m. Continue boiling water until the advisory has been officially lifted. The cancellation time is subject to change.
