SEYMOUR, Ind. - The City of Seymour announced a "Boil Water Advisory" late this week for customers on E. Oak Street due to planned water system improvements.
The advisory will be in effect from Thursday, October 29, at 7:30 a.m., until Friday, October 30, at 3 p.m.
About 40 customers will be affected, and those under the Boil Water Advisory should bring tap water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or other consumption.
A spokesperson for the City of Seymour said, "We appreciate your patience and understanding as these improvements are made to Seymour's water system."
