INDIANAPOLIS – Recent Columbus East High School graduate Sidney Johnson has received a $500 scholarship from the Association of Indiana Counties (AIC), sponsored by SRI, Inc. Her check was presented to her grandfather, a county employee, at the Bartholomew County Governmental Building.
Sidney Johnson is the daughter of Ben and Melissa Johnson. She plans on attending Indiana University in Indianapolis to study nursing.
Four students from across the state were awarded $500 scholarships. Recipients are spring 2026 grads from Indiana high schools who plan to attend an Indiana college this fall.
The AIC will formally welcome and congratulate the recipients at its annual conference in Ft. Wayne in late September and at a county commissioners' meeting in their home county.
