Franklin Parks Department opens doors to corporate sponsorships

FRANKLIN, Ind. — The City of Franklin Parks and Recreation is actively exploring corporate sponsorship opportunities to support ongoing capital investments across its public park facilities.

During the October 15 Franklin Park Board meeting, officials revealed they are seeking corporate and organizational sponsors for upcoming park features. The sponsorship approach is modeled after the local school districts and the Youngs Creek Park amphitheater.

New amenities at the Franklin Family Aquatic Center, such as the planned wave pool and slide complex, along with major infrastructure at Scott Park, present key opportunities for private partnerships.

Parks leadership stated that sponsorship outreach is ongoing and will help offset municipal costs for high-profile community assets.
