COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Columbus Fire Department (CFD) was called to the scene of a residential structure fire in the 4400 block of Ashworth Court in the Abbey Place subdivision on Sunday evening.
Firefighters arrived at around 7:40 p.m. and reported smoke coming from the garage area.
Crews entered the home and found that the flames appeared to be contained to the garage area. CFD said the small blaze was under control within 10 minutes of the initial dispatch.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. No injuries reported.
