COLUMBUS, Ind. - Indiana University Columbus and the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department announced Monday a new agreement for the Circle K Fieldhouse at NexusPark to become the new home for Crimson Pride men’s and women’s soccer.

“We are thrilled to have this elite, professional indoor facility as our home turf; it’s clearly one of the best in our conference and region,” said Kevin Nolan, IU Columbus Director of Soccer and head coach for both teams.

Nolan added that current players, recruits, and visiting teams have all commented on the top-notch facilities, including brand-new turf, a sound system, close-to-the-field seating, locker rooms, and concessions.

The NexusPark location is also conveniently situated, with the AEI Fitness Center just down the hall, as well as medical services and the university campus nearby. Additionally, IU Columbus has partnered with Mother Bear’s Pizza for team meals.

“It’s a one-stop shop!” Nolan said. “Plus, we don’t have to worry about cancelling games due to weather or poor field conditions.”

“This partnership with IU Columbus Soccer represents exactly what the Circle K Fieldhouse was designed for, not only to support tourism but also to support our local community and programs,” added Associate Director of Sports Brady Buckley for Columbus Parks and Recreation. “We’re excited for what’s ahead for their program and proud to support them as they continue to grow.”
