MORRISTOWN, Ind. - The Shelby County Sheriff's Department was notified of a possible threat made to a student at Morristown Jr./Sr. High School on Tuesday afternoon. The threat was communicated using a social media app.
While the Sheriff Department's Criminal Investigations Division conducted an investigation, several deputies assisted in the safe dismissal of all Morristown Schools.
Shelby County Sheriff Chris Holder said that a suspect was identified, located, and taken into custody.
As a result of the investigation, Breanna Ramsey, 18, of Morristown, was charged with Intimidation (Level 6 Felony).
