NORTH VERNON, Ind. - As part of an ongoing narcotics investigation, the North Vernon Police Department (NVPD) executed a search warrant and took three people into custody at 354 Long St., Apartment 3A, on Sunday, February 8.

Early that day, officers received information regarding suspected illegal drug activity occurring at the residence. It was signed and presented at the home at around 6:40 p.m.

During the search, NVPD allegedly located numerous items consistent with narcotics use and distribution, including a clear plastic bag containing a white crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine, a mirror covered with white powder residue, needles, and other drug-related items.
