GREENWOOD, Ind. - Center Grove High School (CGHS) has earned Silver recognition on the 2025 Advanced Placement Program (AP) School Honor Roll. This is the third consecutive year CGHS has received the AP Honor Roll designation. It achieved Bronze distinction in both 2023 and 2024.

The AP School Honor Roll, administered by the College Board, distinguishes schools that expand access to Advanced Placement coursework while supporting student success and performance on AP exams. Schools are recognized at the Bronze, Silver, or Gold level based on performance across three key indicators.

CGHS met or exceeded the criteria for Silver recognition by demonstrating strong outcomes in all three areas:

  • College Culture: At least 50% of the graduating class must have taken an AP exam at some point during high school. CGHS achieved 51%, meeting the Silver benchmark
  • College Credit: At least 25% of seniors must have earned a score of 3 or higher on an AP exam at any point in high school. CGHS exceeded this threshold with 35%, meeting the Gold benchmark
  • College Optimization: At least 2% of seniors must have taken five or more AP exams, including at least one exam in 9th or 10th grade. CGHS achieved 13%, also meeting the Gold benchmark

This recognition reflects Center Grove High School’s commitment to providing rigorous academic opportunities while supporting students in achieving meaningful postsecondary outcomes.

Center Grove High School offers 23 AP courses. During the 2024-25 school year, 743 student enrollments were recorded in AP courses, with 75% of AP exams earning a 3-score or higher.
