GREENWOOD, Ind. - The City of Greenwood was recently awarded over $8.4 million in federal transportation funding through the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization for the Smith Valley Road Expansion Project.
This investment will widen the road, ease congestion, improve safety, and modernize infrastructure along one of Greenwood’s most heavily traveled corridors.
Out of 58 applications requesting funding across Indiana, Greenwood Staff secured one of the region’s major project awards.
