WHITELAND, Ind. - With the start of the new year, the Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation implemented a new "drop-off" and "pick-up" route for Whiteland Community High School for this semester.
WHITELAND, Ind. - With the start of the new year, the Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation implemented a new "drop-off" and "pick-up" route for Whiteland Community High School for this semester.
Officials say the first week went okay, but there is still some lingering confusion.
Officers and administrators are on site to assist and direct traffic. Allow extra time and be patient as everyone adjusts.
For the safety of all students, no unauthorized stopping or parking will be permitted outside the designated zones.
The instructions are below.
Car Riders:
- Parents and guardians should refer to the yellow travel line on the map
- Car rider line will enter off Whiteland Rd at the furthest west entrance and travel east (clockwise) through the main entrance parking lot by door 1, and exit out the previous main entrance that was utilized before the break
- Students should be dropped off and picked up only in designated areas
Student Drivers:
- Refer to the orange lines of travel on the map
- Enter the east entrance off Whiteland Road and continue north through the parking lot until you reach the designated parking lot (purple on map), or enter off US 31 at the roundabout or Tracy North Drive and continue to the designated parking lot (purple)
