COLUMBUS, Indiana – River Valley Legal Aid is offering a free Legal Walk-in Clinic this Tuesday, May 26, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., in Columbus.
The Legal Aid/Pro Bono Program utilizes local volunteer attorneys who offer consultations to low-income residents, providing legal advice and assistance in furtherance of equal access to justice within the community.
Ask about situations concerning family law, housing, powers of attorney, guardianships, and protective orders. However, questions about criminal law will not be entertained.
Individuals participating in the free Legal Aid Walk-in Clinic can expect a 10-minute in-person consultation on a civil matter, on a first-come, first-served basis.
There is no need to register in advance for the River Valley Legal Aid/Pro Bono Walk-in Clinic.
